REACH began with a relationship.
As a college student at Texas A&M University, our founder Max Gerall was transformed by a friendship he built with a campus food service employe; someone he, and so many of his peers, had once walked past without truly seeing. That one relationship opened his eyes to the everyday challenges faced by hundreds of working families in his college town, and to the deep disconnect between students and the communities they live in.
Max founded REACH to bridge that gap. What began as one relationship has grown into a national model for dual transformation — where students grow into purpose-driven leaders and families build financial security, confidence, and community.
Spotlight on REACH
REACH was created to help “invisible Aggies,” the essential workers of the Texas A&M campus who care for the students, faculty and facilities.
